Much more quiet day regarding postseason play today

With only five Districts in action tonight, it will be the calm before the storm. Each of the 16 Districts will be in full swing the rest of the week, as all must identify their Champions by Saturday. Here are today’s line-up of games:

West District (Region 1) –

Semifinals: #3 Central Arizona College (3-9) at #2 Arizona Western College (10-2) at 7:30. #1 seed Cochise College (9-3) is waiting in the wings to host the winner on Saturday.

South Central District (Region 2) –

Quarterfinals: #4 Connors State College (14-7) vs. #5 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (13-8) at 1:00; #9 Arkansas Baptist (5-10) vs. #1 Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa (20-1) at 3:00; #3 Murray State College (15-6) vs. #6 Seminole State College (8-11) at 6:00; #7 Eastern Oklahoma State College (10-11) vs #2 Northern Oklahoma College-Enid (15-4) at 8:00. All games to be played in the Stride Center at Northern Oklahoma College-Enid. All games are CDT.

Southwest District (Region 5) –

Finals – WJCAC: #3 Western Texas College (14-7) vs. #4 Howard College (12-7) at 7:00. The winner gets a date with NTJCAC Champion Ranger College (18-4) on Saturday. That game will be held in the Coliseum at Western Texas College, Snyder, TX.

Plains District (Region 6) –

Quarterfinals: #8 Independence CC (13-9) at #1 Hutchinson CC (16-5) at 7:30; #5 Dodge City CC (14-8) at #4 Coffeyville CC (21-2) at 7:00; #11 Garden City CC (9-12) at #3 Barton CC (15-8) at 7:30; #10 Neosho County CC (9-14) at #2 Cowley College (18-4) at 7:00. All games are CDT.

Central District (Region 12/24) –

Semifinals: #5 Wabash Valley College (12-9) at #1 John A. Logan College (16-4) at 6:00 CDT; #7 Shawnee CC (7-10) at #3 Vincennes University (16-5) at 7:00 EDT.
