JHS will continually monitor all of the District Championship schedules and results and update them on this page in as close to real time as possible.

WEST (Regions 1 & 18)

The West District Championship will be a one game playoff hosted by the Region 18 Champs in odd years and the Region 1 Champs in even years.

REGION 1: All Tournament games will be played at the home site of the higher seeded team. All Times MT.

There are four Division I teams who compete in the ACCAC. All four will participate in the Region Championship and be seeded based on the conference final standings (with tie-breakers).

Region 5 is made up of 2 conferences; the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) and the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC).

REGION 8 – The South Atlantic District Championship will run March 13, 15-16 in Raider Arena, Northwest Florida State College, Niceville, FL.

The Region used to have 3 conferences, starting this year, they have combined into 2. The old Panhandle, with 5 teams, remains in tact. The new Citrus Conference combines the Southern and Central and has 9 teams.

The top 2 teams in the final standings from the Panhandle are auto qualified for the FCSAA State Tournament, a single elimination event in which the winner gets an automatic berth in the NJCAA National Tournament. The same goes for the top 5 finishers in the Citrus. The final team is determined by a one game playoff between the 3rd place team from the Panhandle and the 6th place finisher from the Citrus. NORTHWEST PLAINS (Region 9)

The Northwest Plains District Championship will run March 14-16 with first round games to be played on Saturday, March 9.

The Region is divided into two sub-regions. The two sub-regions are:
North: Casper, Central Wyoming, Eastern Wyoming, Gillette, Laramie County,
Northwest WY, & Western Wyoming.
South: Lamar, McCook, Northeastern JC (CO), Trinidad, North Platte, Otero, & Western Nebraska.

The first round of the Region 9 tournament will be played at the home sites. The top team from the South and North sub-regions will receive first round byes. The winners of remaining first round games will advance and play the remainder of the tournament at the site of the sub-region hosting the tournament. In odd number years the North Division highest seed remaining hosts. In even years, it’s the South’s turn.

After the first-round games are concluded, the remainder of the tournament will be re-seeded with the highest seed from each sub-region paired with the lowest seed from the opposite sub-region.

GULF (Region 23)

The Gulf District is made up of the 15 schools in the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC) otherwise known as Region 23, plus the four teams in the Louisiana Community College Athletic Conference (LCCAC) – Delgado, LSU-Eunice, Southern-Shreveport and Baton Rouge CC. LSU-Eunice chose to opt out playing this season.

The District Tournament will run Saturday, March 9 thru Friday, March 15 and includes the top 8 teams from MACCC standings, the Louisiana Champion, and 3 at-large teams based on the Massey rankings (at least in the past). The top four seeds receive a bye.

All first round, and quarterfinal games will be played at higher seed home court. The Final Four will be held March 14 & 15 in the A. E. Wood Coliseum, Mississippi College, Clinton, MS.

UPDATE: Due to building issues at Wood Coliseum at Mississippi College in Clinton, the FINAL FOUR will now be played in Brownlee Gymnasium, Tougaloo College, Tougaloo, MS
