WEST (Regions 1 & 18)

Region 1 (ACCAC):

DATES: The Division I, Region I tournament will be played on Saturday and Monday, March 4 and 6, following the conclusion of ACCAC play.

STRUCTURE:
• Each game will be played at the sight of the highest seed at 7:00pm
• First round: #4 seed will play #1 seed and #2 seed will play the #3 seed.
• Championship game: winners of first round
Note: Game times and dates are subject to change if conflict with a women’s games. In that case,
the women’s game will be played at 7:30 and the men will play at 5:30. All times are MT.

Region 18 (SWAC):

The tournament will run Thursday, March 2 thru Saturday, March 4 and will be held at #1 seed College of Southern Idaho. No release of schedule/pairings or game times from Region officials at this time.

The Region 18 winner will host Region 1 winner on Saturday, March 11 in the West District Championship for the automatic berth in the National Tournament. All times are MT.

There is only 1 team in each of Region 15 (Monroe College, New Rochelle, NY) and Region 19 (Harcum College, Bryn Mawr, PA). Four teams make up Region 20: Allegheny College of Maryland, Baltimore City CC, Hagerstown CC, and Harford CC. The District Championship Tournament will be held in the Monroe Athletic Complex, Monroe College, New Rochelle, NY on Friday & Saturday, March 10-11. All times are ET.

Region 15/19:

Both Monroe College and Harcum College advance to the District Tournament which will be held Friday and Saturday, March 10 & 11 at Monroe College, New Rochelle, NY.

Region 20:

2023 Region 20 Division I Men’s Basketball Championship will be held at APG Federal Credit Union Arena at Harford Community College, Bel Air, Md. All times are ET.

The top two from each of the three conferences (Panhandle, Central, Southern) are auto qualifiers and will be joined by 2 At-Large selections for the single elimination FCSAA’s State Tournament. The winner gets an auto berth to the National Tournament.

NORTHWEST PLAINS (Region 9)

The Northwest Plains District Championship will run March 9-11 with first round games to be played on Saturday, March 4.

The Region is divided into two sub-regions. The two sub-regions are:
North: Casper, Central Wyoming, Eastern Wyoming, Laramie County,
Northwest WY, & Western Wyoming.
South: Lamar, McCook, Northeastern JC (CO), Trinidad, North Platte, Otero, & Western Nebraska.

The first round of the Region 9 tournament will be played at the home sites. The top team from the
South and the top two teams from the North will receive an automatic first round byes. The
winners of remaining first round games will advance and play the remainder of the tournament
at the site of the sub-region hosting the tournament. After the first-round games are concluded,
the remainder of the tournament will be re-seeded with the highest seed from each sub-region
paired with the lowest seed from the opposite sub-region.

The host team for the final eight will be the highest remaining seed from the North Division for 2023. The host team will alternate between North and South years going forward.

The Gulf District is comprised of the 15 schools in the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC), and the four teams in the Louisiana Community College Athletic Conference (LCCAC) – Delgado, LSU-Eunice, Southern-Shreveport and Baton Rouge CC. The twelve team District Tournament inlcudes the top 8 teams from MACCC standings, the Louisiana Champion, and 3 at-large based on the Massey rankings. All first round, and quarterfinal games all be played at higher seed home court. Final four will be held March 4 & 5 in the A. E. Wood Coliseum, Mississippi College, Clinton, MS.
