District Tournaments move into high gear this week
All District Championships must be decided by Saturday, April 10. Here are today’s games:
South Central District (Region 2) all times CDT.
First round – Monday, April 5: #9 Arkansas Baptist College (5-10) at #8 Redlands CC (9-13) at 7:00; #10 Western Oklahoma State College (5-16) at #7 Eastern Oklahoma State College (9-11) at 7:00. Quarterfinals are Wednesday, April 7 in the Stride Center at Northern Oklahoma College – Enid, OK.
Southwest District (Region 5) all remaining games to be played at Rip Griffin Center, Lubbock Christian University. All times are CDT.
WJCAC Quarterfinals – Monday, April 5:
#5 Clarendon College (12-10) vs. #4 Howard College (10-7) at 6:00; #6 Frank Phillips College (14-9) vs. #3 Western Texas College (12-7) at 8:00. Semis tomorrow, Tuesday, April 6.
Plains District (Region 6) at games at higher seeds. All times CDT.
First round – Monday, April 5: #9 Seward County CC (8-12) at #8 Independence CC (12-9) at 7:00; #12 Allen County CC (6-16) at #5 Dodge City CC (13-8) at 7:00; #13 Colby CC (6-9) at #4 Coffeyville CC (20-2) at 7:30; #14 Cloud County CC (6-16) at #3 Barton CC (14-8) at 7:30; #11 Garden City CC (8-12) at #6 Butler CC (16-6) at 7:00; #10 Neosho County CC (8-14) at #7 Pratt CC (9-11) at 7:00. #1 Hutchinson CC (16-5) and #2 Cowley College will receive byes.
